The Mentor–Mentee Fellowship Programme, “Empowering Young Lawyers through Mentorship for Social Justice,” is a 24-month programme commencing in December 2026. The Fellowship aims to empower young lawyers through mentorship and practical training under experienced Advocates practicing in the District Courts of Nagaland.
Through hands-on courtroom training and practical exposure to court proceedings, continuous mentorship, and capacity-building, the selected Mentees/Fellows will strengthen their legal knowledge, advocacy skills, and practical experience to effectively represent marginalized and vulnerable communities.
The programme seeks to enhance access to justice, promote legal awareness, uphold human rights and constitutional values, and contribute to sustainable systemic change towards equality, justice, and social transformation.
